Our Services

What We Do

Design Interior Peace teaches our clients cognitive behavioral therapy techniques along with spiritual principles for the purpose of changing unhealthy lifestyle habits including relationships with material items. We offer service with a wide scope starting with an assessment of living conditions. We move forward with deep cleaning. The next step is reorganizing (including necessary furnishing) and decluttering, including resale, donation, or disposal of items our clients are willing to part with.

This can be psychologically difficult, so we offer therapeutic crisis intervention. Finally, we use the decor already in the home to enhance and brighten the environment. Additionally, if there are utilitarian problems, such as poor electrical wiring or appliances in disrepair, we subcontract to make sure the home is finished and in good repair.

What We Do

Common Problems to Resolve
  • Dangerous health conditions (Ex: Fire hazards; pest droppings)
  • Animals (Ex: Unsanitary conditions including feces, etc.)
  • Lack of space (Ex: Mobility is difficult or impossible and your projects can't be completed due to lack of elbow room; you can't have guests, because there is nowhere to sit)
  • Lack of function (Ex: A kitchen table can't be eaten at; TVs are stacked up taking up space but not being used)
  • Eviction (Ex: If you don't change, you may be asked to leave)

Value & Categorize
  • Functional (Furniture, Dishes, Appliances, Clothing, Electronics)
  • Sentimental (Mom's table/cabinet/China, Photo albums, Gifts)
  • Aesthetic (Decorative items that are nice to look at such as knick-knacks and artwork)
  • Monetary
  1. Salable (The item is in good enough condition and worth enough to sell)
  2. Donatable (Items worthy of donation provide tax benefits)
  3. Recyclable (Metal recycling can be exchanged for cash)
  • Disposable (The item has reached the end of its lifecycle)

Rehome Your Things
We network with a variety of local nonprofits and marketplaces to make sure your beloved items will have a future home.
