Our Mission
Design Interior Peace is a charitable organization which exists to teach transferable skills to elderly, disabled, low income, and mentally ill members of our community who are suffering in their living environments, especially those with hoarding tendencies. We clean, implement organization systems, decorate, and rehome excessive material items, while teaching our clients how to maintain these conditions. The purpose of our services is to create and maintain space for productivity and healthy living. We consider ourselves to be in the field of therapeutic housekeeping, which is a holistic field to help bring peace to our clients internally as well as externally.
About Us
Design Interior Peace helps hoarders and others suffering in their environments learn cognitive behavioral therapy techniques along with spiritual principles for the purpose of changing unhealthy lifestyle habits including relationships with material items. We offer charitable services to low income, disabled, and elderly clients who may or may not have mental health issues. Our human services organization teaches and supports its clients while they go through the difficult and time-consuming process of revaluing, categorizing, and parting with their things. When necessary, we clean while teaching tips and tricks for keeping a home tidy through a regular routine. We offer guidelines for decision making that we expect and trust our clients will implement into their daily lives. Additionally, when needed, we offer organizational systems and advice on how to utilize a home’s spaces efficiently to promote productivity and peace.
